Nimbin Graffiti & Signs Nimbin Community Art provides art to be seen, discussed and enjoyed by a wide audience of visitors and local people. The main street of Nimbin is transformed by the vibrant energy and colour of the art on display. The various art forms of Graffiti, Signs, Billboard display, Mosaic and Sculpture are used to decorate, to express feelings, and to represent historical and ideological interests of the community by the artists. In Nimbin the town buildings, parks, sport and community recreation areas reflect the attitude that painting, architecture and sculpture are part of the one process of making buildings and community for all to share. |
