Annie Heitmann

Annie has completed a Diploma of Fine Arts at Lismore TAFE, and many of the paintings, prints and drawings were created during her studies.

Annie has also attended traditional leather Commedia Dell Arte mask making classes with Italian master craftsman Paolo Consiglio and as such her artworks features a series of elaborate and intricately-designed masks from her personal collection.

Her current series of works, which includes some of her magnificent masked creations, reflects her eccentric relationship with discarded objects and a passion for storytelling as a tool for transformation.

Annie Heitmann is now a freelance artist and teacher with a background in street theatre, puppetry and clowning.
